Made for a game jam whose theme was "Anti-(Your Genre Here)", Blooming Heart is an anti-romance dating sim where instead of getting a date, players overcome social anxiety and make friends!
Instead of using a dedicated visual novel software, Blooming Heart was made in Unity to allow for genre-defying features like mini-games, 3D animation, and special effects with the text.
Unfortunately, the game was not finished by the deadline. It will eventually be returned to and finished in its original vision.

A brief description of the game concept from our planning document.
As the only member of the team with game design experience, I was fully in charge of all implementation of the game into Unity, including coding my own custom visual novel scripts in C#. I also pitched the game idea we ended up pursuing, and additionally wrote parts of the game's text.
