Austin Xie is a game designer and writer whose unique mechanics and narratives redefine his players' interactions with the world and people around them. With his background in critical game theory and UX, he creates fun, innovative experiences that transcend genre norms and broaden what it can mean to "play". Having just graduated with bachelor's degrees in Media Arts & Design and English Language & Lit., he currently makes games about quantum physics at UChicago's STAGE center.
